The Rockets shot 54% from the floor last night but they didn’t play any D allowing the Hornets to shoot 63.8% from the floor and that did them in. Trevor Ariza had his best game of the year last night for the Rockets finishing with 26 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists and 2 blocked shots. Kevin Martin also had a solid game with 24 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals last night. Luis Scola pitched in with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in this game. The Rockets finish the season with a 42-40 record.

The Rockets shot 51.8% from the floor and that was the reason for the win last night. Kevin Martin punished his old team last night finishing with 39 points and 2 rebounds to lead the way for the Rockets. Trevor Ariza also had a huge game for the Rockets with 29 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocked shots. Kyle Lowry pitched in with a great effort off the bench finishing with 14 points and 11 assists in only 25 minutes on the court. Chase Budinger and Aaron Brooks helped out offensively last night for the Rockets also with 10 points apiece. The Rockets are now 42-39 on the season as they are without a doubt the best team in the NBA that won’t be in the playoffs.

Phoenix Suns 116, Houston Rockets 106

The Rockets played hard tonight before falling to the Suns as they were outscored 29-21 in the 4th quarter. Luis Scola was outstanding leading the way for the Rockets tonight with 30 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Aaron Brooks did a good job of directing the offense as he finished up with 22 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals. Rookie Chase Budinger played 26 minutes off the bench and he pitched in with 19 points. The Rockets are now 41-39 on the season and they are still playing hard despite being eliminated from the playoffs.

Sacramento Kings 84, Houston Rockets 81

The Rockets only shot 39% from the floor so it’s no wonder that they lost last night. Aaron Brooks led the way for the Rockets last night with 22 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists despite only shooting 9 of 25 from the floor. Luis Scola was the only Rocket player who brought his “A” game last night as he finished up with 19 points, 18 rebounds and 5 assists. Kevin Martin finished up with 14 points and 8 rebounds on 3 of 13 shooting against his old team. The Rockets are now 30-30 on the year. The Rockets can’t afford to lose at home to teams like the Kings if they wanted to make the playoffs.

The Rockets shot 51.3% from the floor and they were leading 97-65 after three quarters before calling off the dogs last night. Kevin Martin led the way for the Rockets last night with 28 points and 4 assists in only 32 minutes on the floor. Martin hit all five of his three point attempts last night for the Rockets. Aaron Brooks also had a solid game with 28 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists in 32 minutes. Backup center David Andersen was outstanding off the bench for the Rockets last night as he finished up with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists in 23 minutes. The Rockets are now 30-29 on the year.
