Goran Dragic & Courtney Lee have really stepped up for the Houston Rockets

25-year old point guard Goran Dragic and 26-year old shooting guard Courtney Lee have both really stepped up the last couple months filling in for Kyle Lowry and Kevin Martin (who have been injured). Dragic has played in 21 games (17 starts) so far in March & April and he is averaging 34.2 minutes, 16.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, 7.5 assists and 1.9 steals per game. He has now played in 57 games (19 starts) overall this year and he is averaging 25.1 minutes, 10.8 points, 2.4 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 1.2 steals per game. Courtney Lee has played in 21 games (15 starts) so far in March & April and he is averaging 34.7 minutes, 13.3 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.1 steals per game. Lee has now played in 49 games (17 starts) overall this year and he is averaging 29.2 minutes, 11.1 points, 2.6 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.1 steals per game. Goran Dragic and Courtney Lee are two of the biggest reasons why the Rockets might finally get back into the playoffs this year.

Houston Rockets 94, Portland Trailblazers 89

The Rockets turned up the D last Tuesday Night as they held the Trailblazers to 39.8% shooting from the floor, and it helped lead them to a nice road win. Goran Dragic led the way for the Rockets with 22 points, 2 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 steals. Chase Budinger (15 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 blocked shots) and Kyle Lowry (13 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals) also had solid games. Luis Scola (12 points) and Courtney Lee (12 points) also pitched in. The Rockets are now 32-25 on the year.

Houston Rockets 104, Sacramento Kings 87

The Rockets thumped the Kings in Sacramento last night. Courtney Lee (25 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 4 steals) and Goran Dragic (15 points, 4 rebounds, 9 assists, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot) led the way for the Rockets last night. Chase Budinger also had a solid game with 15 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals. Luis Scola (13 points), Chandler Parsons (10 points) and Patrick Patterson (10 points) also pitched in for the Rockets. The Rockets are now 31-25 on the year.

Houston Rockets 112, Los Angeles Lakers 107

The Lakers outrebounded the Rockets 48-35 last Friday Night, but it didn’t matter much in the end. Goran Dragic (26 points, 4 rebounds, 11 assists and 3 steals) and Luis Scola (25 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals) led the way for the Rockets in this game. Chandler Parsons (13 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists), Marcus Camby (12 points, 11 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 blocked shots), Samuel Dalembert (12 points, 6 rebounds and 3 steals) and Courtney Lee (10 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists) also pitched in for the Rockets in this game. The Rockets are now 30-25 on the year.

Houston Rockets 99, Chicago Bulls 93

The Rockets outscored the Bulls 28-23 in the 4th quarter to surge to victory last night. Goran Dragic (21 points, 1 rebound, 5 assists, 4 steals and 1 blocked shot) and Luis Scola (18 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals and 3 blocked shots) led the way for the Rockets last night. Chase Budinger (13 points), Courtney Lee (13 points) and Marcus Camby (12 points and 11 rebounds) also pitched in with solid games last night for the Rockets. The Rockets are now 29-25 on the year.
