The Houston Rockets (14-10) shot the ball very well last night, taking them to an easy win over the Detroit Pistons (11-14). They hit 55% from the field and a big first quarter helped get them off to a good start, as they lead the game 29-19 after one. Aaron Brooks led the Rockets with 23 points, 10 assists, and 3 rebounds. He hit 10-20 shots from the field even though he went 0-6 from three. Luis Scola also had a good game, dropping 23 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists. The rebounding was even at 44-44, but they gave up 17 offensive rebounds which is something they need to put a stop to. Richard Hamilton led the Pistons with 21 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists. The best news of the night for the Rockets was Tracy McGrady made his season debut, hitting a three in 8 minutes of play.
