Houston Rockets 107, Detroit Pistons 96

The Houston Rockets (14-10) shot the ball very well last night, taking them to an easy win over the Detroit Pistons (11-14).   They hit 55% from the field and a big first quarter helped get them off to a good start, as they lead the game 29-19 after one.  Aaron Brooks led the Rockets with 23 points, 10 assists, and 3 rebounds.  He hit 10-20 shots from the field even though he went 0-6 from three.  Luis Scola also had a good game, dropping 23 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists.  The rebounding was even at 44-44, but they gave up 17 offensive rebounds which is something they need to put a stop to.  Richard Hamilton led the Pistons with 21 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists.  The best news of the night for the Rockets was Tracy McGrady made his season debut, hitting a three in 8 minutes of play.

The Rockets only shot 36.8% from the floor and it did them in last night. Carl Landry led the way for the Rockets last night with 25 points and 7 rebounds in 31 minutes. Luis Scola also had a great game with 21 points and 15 rebounds. Aaron Brooks pitched in with 20 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists last night. The Rockets are now 13-10 on the year.

The Rockets fought hard last night to get the win on the road. Carl Landry led the way for the Rockets with 20 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocked shots last night. Aaron Brooks pitched in with 19 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist and 2 steals. Chase Budinger was solid off the bench with 15 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist in only 18 minutes. The Rockets are now 13-9 on the year.

The Rockets got outrebounded 47-37 last night but it didn’t matter in the end. Aaron Brooks led the way for the Rockets with 27 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assists. Trevor Ariza also had another solid game last night with 26 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. Shane Battier carried the Rockets in early in this game and he stuffed the stat sheet with 14 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocked shots. The Rockets are now 12-9 on the year.

The Rockets just got nipped last night in Oregon. Carl Landry led the way for the Rockets last night with 23 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists. Luis Scola also had a solid game with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists. Chase Budinger pitched in with 12 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist in 19 minutes off the bench. The Rockets are now 11-9 on the year.
