The Rockets outrebounded the Thunder 46-35 and they outscored them 31-20 in the 4th quarter to surge to victory. Aaron Brooks led the way for the Rockets in this game with 21 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Carl Landry was solid once again off the bench with 21 points, 10 rebounds and 2 steals. Trevor Ariza only shot 7 of 23 from the floor but he still filled up the boxscore with 17 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists, 4 steals and 2 blocked shots. The Rockets are now 9-8 on the season.

Carl Landry is stepping up for the Houston Rockets

Back-up forward Carl Landry might have a chance to win the Sixth Man of the Year Award in the NBA this season if he continues to play at such a high level. He has played in 16 games (0 starts) for the Rockets so far this year and he is averaging 25.4 minutes, 15.6 points, 5.6 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game. Landry is also shooting 56.1% from the floor so far this season which is outstanding. Landry could start for a lot of the teams in the NBA but the Rockets love the energy he brings to the second unit.

The Rockets only shot 35.9% from the floor and that did them in last night. Luis Scola led the way for the Rockets last night as he scored 18 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and he dished out 2 assists. Trevor Ariza only shot 6 of 21 from the floor as he finished with 17 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals. Carl Landry pitched in with 13 points and 4 rebounds off the bench. The Rockets are now 8-8 on the season.

The Rockets forgot to play defense last night as the Mavericks shot 65.5% from the floor which explains the beat down they took. Carl Landry led the way for the Rockets last night with 24 points and 6 rebounds in 29 minutes off the bench. Trevor Ariza had another solid game for the Rockets last night with 20 points, 3 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocked shots. Luis Scola pitched in with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists. The Rockets are now 8-7 on the year.

The Rockets outscored the Kings 33-22 in the 4th quarter to surge to victory. Luis Scola led the way for the Rockets last night with 22 points, 12 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. Carl Landry only played 25 minutes last night but he still scored 20 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Trevor Ariza pitched in with 19 points, 4 rebounds and 3 steals last night. The Rockets are now 8-6 on the year.
