The Houston Rockets acquire D.J. Strawberry from the Suns
The Rockets have acquired 2nd year guard D.J. Strawberry from the Suns for rookie guard Sean Singletary. Strawberry did not have a good rookie year for the Suns. He played in 33 games (0 starts) in his rookie season and he averaged 8.2 minutes, 2.2 points, 0.8 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game. Strawberry also didn’t shoot too well last season as he only hit 31.5% of his shots from the floor and 47.4% of his shots from the free throw line. This seems to be a trade that was just made for the sake of making one as neither of these players have much of an upside.
