The Houston Rockets trade forward Steve Novak to the Clippers
The Rockets have traded reserve forward Steve Novak to the Clippers. In return, the Rockets have the option to switch 2011 2nd round picks with the Clippers. That seems likely to happen based on the histories of these two teams and it’s fair value for Novak. Novak played in 70 games (1 start) in his career in Houston and he averaged 6.5 minutes, 2.7 points, 0.9 rebounds and 0.2 assists per game. His best skill was his long range shooting as he shot 42.7% from behind the three point line. This trade also takes his salary off the books which is a good thing with Ron Artest’s big salary coming on board soon.
