The Houston Rockets selected Maarty Leunen in the 2nd round of the NBA Draft on Thursday Night. Leunen isn’t the most athletic player on the court but he does have nice size at 6′9″, 220 pounds. Leunen played in 127 games (91 starts) at Oregon and he averaged 9.9 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game. He’s an unselfish player as he did hit 50.3% of his career shots from the floor. Look for minutes to be hard to get for Leunen as a rookie.
