The Rockets out ran the Warriors on Tuesday Night and that’s easier said than done. Yao had an incredible game as he scored 36 points and snapped up 19 rebounds. Luther Head got a rare start and he finished with 20 points, 2 rebounds and 6 assists. Rafer Alston did a superb job of running the offense as he finished up with 17 points, 8 rebounds, 12 assists and 2 steals. The Rockets are now 25-20 on the season.

The Rockets forgot to play defense in the 4th quarter as they were outscored 37-30 which doomed them earlier tonight. Tracy McGrady led the way for the Rockets with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Luis Scola got the start at center in the place of the injured Yao Ming and he finished up with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Shane Battier pitched in with 15 points and 3 rebounds. The Rockets are now 24-20 on the season.

The Rockets really turned up the defense in the 2nd half last night as they outscored the Blazers 47-29 to pull away in the game. The Rockets outrebounded the Blazers 48-30 and they also held the Blazers to only 35.7% shooting from the floor. Tracy McGrady led the way for the Rockets with 15 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists. Rookie Carl Landry had his best game in the NBA with 12 points and 8 rebounds. Fellow rookie Luis Scola also had a solid game off of the bench with 11 points, 12 rebounds an 3 steals. The Rockets are now 24-19 on the season.

The Rockets rallied in the 4th quarter as they outscored the Sonics 31-24 to lock up a victory on Wednesday Night. Tracy McGrady led the way for the Rockets with 28 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists. Yao also had an amazing game with 26 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. Rafer Alston did a good job of running the offense as he finished with 18 points, 3 rebounds and 8 assists. The Rockets improved to 23-19 on the season with this win.

The Rockets weren’t sharp last night but they were good enough to win. Yao Ming led the way for the Rockets with 30 points, 17 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 blocked shots. Tracy McGrady added 17 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 blocked shots off the bench. Bonzi Wells pitched in with 16 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists. The Rockets improved to 22-19 on the season with this win.
