The Rockets acquire forward Carl Landry from the Sonics
The Rockets acquired Carl Landry from the Sonics for a future 2nd rounder and cash. Landry could compete for the starting power forward job right away as the job is now wide open. Landry played his last three seasons at Purdue after transferring over from Vicennes. He’s a 6′7″, 205 pound forward who has a knack for rebounding which is just what the Rockets need. He played in 123 games in college and he averaged 17.8 points, 7.7 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.0 steal and 1.0 block per game. Landry also knows who to put the ball in the basket as he hit 65.4% of his shots from the floor, 26.5% from three point range and 70.8% of his free throws. This was a good move for the Rockets.

From Miami…with respect…!!! Great Selection Houston!
I think Landry might just be what the Rockets need at power forward as he’s a tough guy that likes to mix it up under the basket.
HE TOOK IT TO ODEN!
He’ll get more chances to do it in the Pros too.
Carl is a great player!!! I saw him in his JuCo days and he gets the job done.
