The Houston Rockets lock up the #5 seed in the Western Conference Playoffs
The Rockets are sitting at 47-29 on the season and they are 1.5 games behind the Utah Jazz for the #4 spot, but that doesn’t matter because the Jazz have won their division which guarantees them no lower than the #4 slot. The Rockets have to like their chances against the Jazz because of the advantages they have at both center (Yao) and shooting guard (T-Mac). Look for the Rockets to try to take the air out of the basketball by using almost the whole shot clock before shooting the ball. The Rockets are also a very solid 21-16 on the road so that has to concern the Jazz a little bit. Seeing how the Rockets can not move up, they should rest all of their starters the last 6 games of the regular season.
