Blogged under Bloglockers, Game recaps, Front Page by alleyoop on Tuesday 13 March 2007 at 10:42 am

The Rockets only shot 38.6% from the floor and they were outrebounded 50-36 by the Suns and it’s hard to win that way.  T-Mac led the way for the Rockets with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists.   Juwan Howard was outstanding last night as he hit all 7 of the shots that he attempted last night and he wound up with 14 points and 3 rebounds.  Chuck Hayes also had a really solid game with 13 points, 10 rebounds and 3 steals.

The Rockets fell to 39-25 on the season with this loss.  http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=270312021

Chuck Hayes starting to play well

Blogged under Bloglockers, Steppin Up, Front Page by alleyoop on Sunday 11 March 2007 at 11:20 pm

Chuck Hayes has started the last three games for the Rockets and he’s done a decent job.  In his last 8 games he’s averaged 20.4 minutes, 6.9 points, 6.0 rebounds, 0.8 assists and 1.0 steal per game.  He’s also shooting well as he’s hitting 53.5% from the floor.  As long as he keeps playing defense and rebounds the Rockets will be better with Hayes starting and Juwan Howard coming off of the bench.
